@mtvcdm Word. It's always a tough thing and I don't think Elon understands that his utopian internet town square rarely is that.

Reading up on the #ATProtocol and came across this. Nice.

@mmasnick It's not helping the situation that people are coming around demanding CWs for an ever-evolving subset of posts, something that isn't even in many instance's rules. The mantra can't be that all servers are moderated independently and then expect global adherence to some inter-instance group's rules.
@blair_fix It allows your blog to become an instance just like any other server. I see it working now.
Alright, syncing Twitter comments to my WordPress posts works, though root-level tweets themselves don't sync. Guess I will need to use another approach for those and for Mastodon posts. @chrisaldrich has a compelling method in which to do this, so I'm going to explore it.
Turned out to need the IndieAuth plugin. Now it works.
Also, I have noticed that comments from That Other Site are not arriving. I have brid.gy setup but it still doesn't seem to work. Looking into that next but any ideas are appreciated there as well.
For those using the #ActivityPub plugin on their #WordPress blogs for #webmention: Replies from Mastodon are coming in with the correct link but as "Anonymous" for a name. I can't seem to find a solution. Any suggestions? I have both AP and webmention plugins installed. Could they be conflicting? Site: https://dymersion.com/ TIA!
@dannysullivan You can also add it as a <link> tag in the head section with the same attributes.
