@peatbog Lots of people didn't find it too problematic in the end to leave Twitter for Mastodon and other networks.
Got my bivalent COVID shot the other day. I can report that the updated HUD view is magnificent.

Hi Chris, I’m having trouble getting this to work. I can reply to my own posts from Twitter but not to the manually-syndicated comment with the reply URL. I see you have your comments syndicated as well. Does threading the comment via Twitter require the parent also be syndicated? If so, how are you doing this? I have the syndication links plugin installed but the list of comment syndications doesn’t appear to be an out-of-the-box feature.
