Finally got my site #verified in my #Mastodon profile. Figured out what was doing wrong. Tried to #verify my blog within the overall site. Nope. Mastodon #verification seems to want your rel=me link on home page of a site. Also love that rel=me is the mechanism here. Easy to do (if you have a site). Go to edit profile on desktop, put your site in profile metadata. Then also on edit profile, copy the verification code, put that on your site's home page. All set, your link should go verified soon.
