I'm floundering around in the world again after many years of forgetting abotu microformats and all that great stuff. Looks like json-ld has taken over the space?

Got to say I already see the advantages, but I'm wondering did the internet ever settle on a data structure for blog posts? I am working on a project to exfiltrate data from a corp data silo and it seemed like using a portable data structure would be the way to store the data goign forward… this has been solved (…)

@meadowhawk JSON-LD seems to have taken over for sure but a lot of the folks are strongly in favor of microformats for blog & ActivityPub-enabled post markup/parsing. I'm guessing because the primary JSON-LD format is in large part guided by Google but I am not sure.
