@jasonekratz@social.lol @mmasnick @Popehat I'm referring to when growth inevitably slows down and they have to become genuinely profitable/sustainable. Will they stay or just sell Bluesky to another Elon Musk and receive their golden parachutes? Corporations (especially tech companies) seem to prefer playing an endless game of hot potato rather than operating a sustainable business.
Again, I wonder if Bluesky servers will be entirely independent or be glorified Discord servers(i.e. still centralized)?
