@wynch@soc.ironwyn.ch So far, so mostly good here, but I am concerned about being booted someday for resource usage. I’m only on shared hosting now but I’ve been considering moving off to more a solution more responsive to demand increases.

As has been recently reported, Substack Notes is quickly learning all the lessons other social network platforms have learned.

It’s really awesome being able to post on the blog instance from a Mastodon client. It’s really tying together the feasibility of using it as my main account.
And the threads are coming together.
I broke #WordPress #ActivityPub posting the other day, so seeing if it’s fixed now.
Apparently my blog has #ActivityPub. No idea how this works as Iʼve attempted to follow the accounts it suggests, but my instance canʼt find them. Wish we laypeople could use this tech more easily. #WordPress

Finally, I seem to have found a way for posts/toots from #WordPress to default to the ‘note’ #PostKind when posted from outside the WP interface. Now to find a way for the plugin to always respect the choice selected in the settings, as it currently doesn’t in this use case.
